FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to a battery for an electric vehicle with improved cooling characteristics, in which the cooling plate is in direct contact with the battery module. The technical result is improving the efficiency of battery cooling by optimizing the design of the cooling plate and the connection structure with the battery module, achieved due to the fact that the cooling plate located between the case and the battery module is made of an aluminum alloy having a high thermal conductivity, with an internal fluid passage provided with concave portions forming coolant turbulence that delays the flow of refrigerant to allow sufficient time for heat exchange, wherein a plurality of concave portions can be arranged in a certain way to evenly distribute the refrigerant flow throughout the cooling plate, thereby further improving the heat exchange efficiency. Between the rear part of the cooling plate and the battery module is a thermal pad made of acrylic material with adhesive properties, while the battery module is equipped with temperature sensors installed at the inlet and outlet of the liquid from the cooling plate, and a temperature control system.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of battery cooling by optimizing the design of the cooling plate and the connection structure with the battery module.
