SUBSTANCE: preparation of coniferous seeds for sowing includes processing in device comprising needle-cathode and flat metal anode on which seed material is placed as uniform layer a. Processing by negative air ion flow within 60 s with at current density (3.3-3.5)×10-2 Kl/m2 provides stimulating effect on seed germination. For higher productivity of method seed material is placed on travelling metalized tape of conveyor used as anode. To prevent effect of metal conveyor components designs on ionisation current, air ion zone is limited with dielectric screen mainly shaped as lateral surface of truncated pyramid with rectangular base width of width is equal to width of conveyor tape.
EFFECT: higher productivity of method of germination stimulation.
