SUBSTANCE: insular muscle flap is made of myogaster part of short fibular muscle on proximal vascular pedicle including braches of the fibular artery and vein. Flap is relocated in distal direction to the lower third of calf bone preserving feeding vessels.
EFFECT: reliable blood supply of transplanted muscular tissue, maintenance of proximal point of short fibular muscle fixation, traumatic rate and treatment period reduction.
