FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: set includes intraocular lens injector (10) located inside a housing (11), containing intraocular lens and package (20). The package (20) is used to place in and to store the injector (10) until its usage. The package (20) is made of waterproof material and filled with protective solution to store, at least, case (11) of injector (10) and intraocular lens fully immersed in the solution during the entire storage period. The package (20) has a solid reservoir (21, 22) and hole (25) for injector (10) installation and extraction. The reservoir contains (21, 22) at least one internal bead (25, 27) interacting with injector part (10) for its centre adjustment and holding its ejection end (15) of lens feeding at some distance from reservoir walls (21, 22). Due to this device unit stays absolutely hermetical in relation to water and water vapours in case of long-time storage.
EFFECT: increase of time and quality of intraocular lens storage.
