FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: injector for implanting an intraocular lens contains: an injector case containing: a cavity formed by the inner wall; a longitudinal axis passing through the center along the injector case; a part of a distal end containing sidewalls; the first slope formed on the inner surface of a passage along the first sidewall and shifted sideways from the longitudinal axis, while the first slope is located inside the passage so that to contact with the front haptic part of the intraocular lens; and a plunger made with the possibility of sliding in the cavity.
EFFECT: use of the invention will allow for raising the front haptic part of the intraocular lens to improve folding characteristics of the intraocular lens.
