METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF COMPLICATED CATARACT WITH RECURRENT UVEITIS Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61F9/07

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the sphere of ophthalmosurgery and can be used for surgical treatment of complicated cataract of the eyes with recurrent uveitis, when uveitis run is laudable: rare backsets, absence of iris rubeosis and frank iridocorneal fusions. After formation of microinvasive approach and mechanical mydriasis the autopsy on the frontal capsule of lens is performed by way of sequential circular capsulorexis. Cataract extraction is performed by means of phacoemulsification. After that sequential circular capsulorexis in the dorsal capsule of lens of 3 mm in diameter is performed. The frontal vitrectomia is implemented through the flat part of the ciliary body in the volume of 1/3 the crystalline humor. The Acrysof triadic flexible lens is implanted into the capsular sac with the haptic angle 10°, the optical part of which is broughr behind the edges of the dorsal capsulorexis. The method is minimally traumatic and provides a more laudable postoperative course and achievement of a high visual result.

EFFECT: reduction of postoperative course complications and achievement of high visual result of cataract treatment.
