FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for implantation of an intraocular lens (IOL) in patients with congenital ectopic lens of 1–2 degrees. A tunnel incision and two corneocenteses are formed. An anterior capsulorhexis is performed. The contents of the lens are removed. An intracapsular ring is implanted into the capsular bag. Next, a posterior capsulorhexis is performed concentrically with the optical axis of the eye. A three-part S-shaped IOL is implanted so that the haptic elements fit into the ciliary groove, and the long axis of the IOL is located perpendicular to the lens displacement vector. Then, double posterior capture of the optical part of the IOL is performed in the anterior and posterior capsulorhexis, with the optical part of the IOL placed behind the capsular bag, and the haptic elements in front of it.
EFFECT: invention ensures a stable central position of the IOL, reducing the risk of developing secondary cataracts, intra- and postoperative complications.
