SUBSTANCE: induction welding device can be used in producing the liquid food packages by crosswise welding of a pipe made in sheet packaging material containing, at least one layer of an induction-heated material coated with a plastic the said induction welding device comprises a generator to produce a variable power signal S(ω), at least one inductor receiving the aforesaid signal S(ω) intended to induce a parasite current in the layer and cause a local melting of the plastic along with formation of the transverse seam and a matching circuit to effect an efficient power transfer between the generator and the inductor. The said matching circuit incorporates an inductance-capacitor circuit wherein the variable-capacitance element capacity is adjusted so that the phase shift angle between current and voltage approximates to zero.
EFFECT: optimizing phasing conditions and reduced power transfer to inductor.
