FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to car speed control devices used at station double inclines. Proposed hydraulic car brake comprises braking bars arranged on both sides on a rail provided with buses and spring assemblies, clamping mechanisms with pressure hydraulic cylinders, and power cylinders. Hydraulic cylinders are communicated with hydraulic system comprising on-off hydraulic control valve, air-charged accumulator, four check valves and one safety valve, delivery and discharge lines, and tank. Every clamping mechanism is mounted on one rail ahead of braking bars with buses. Every spring assembly is mounted in appropriate power hydraulic cylinder. Hydraulic system incorporates the fifth check valve arranged in delivery line ahead of on-off hydraulic control valve.
EFFECT: higher operating efficiency and longer life.
