FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: device incorporates two separate induction loops (IL) laid in the track prism along the tie edges and in tie boxes ahead and behind the point. The length of every separate induction loops exceeds the distance between the wheels of adjacent cars and is smaller than the car minimum wheel base, that between separate induction loops is also smaller than the car wheel pair base, while the total IL length corresponds to the preset length of the point section. The IL is connected to the floor-mounted electronic unit with its two channels comprising a DC pulse generator and a receiver-reflected signal analyser discerning in intervals between pulses the signal of various train parts. In compliance with the first version, the data on cut of cars is used directly in-situ without transmitting it over long ranges. In compliance with the other version, the aforesaid data is transmitted over long ranges. The floor-mounted electronic unit is connected, via two-wire cable line with the station electronic unit. The data from the floor-mounted unit is transmitted by varying certain-frequency supply current magnitude and the relative pulse duration.

EFFECT: preventing the point shifting under rolling stock and higher efficiency.
