FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed machine is designed to reinforce the R 65-rail bolt hole edges by a surface plastic deformation to be used by the rail-welding trains (RWT) of the on-track machine stations (TMS), metallurgical works producing rails and in repair. The reinforcing machine is made up of a frame, a tool bench, a rail catcher, a vertical clamping hydraulic cylinder and a vertical thrust hydraulic cylinder. The tool bench is furnished with a rail guide and two vertical posts. The clamping hydraulic cylinder stop interacts with the rail head. The thrust hydraulic cylinder stop interacts with the rail end face. The rail catcher is furnished with two spring-loaded supports carrying the lower supporting roller interacting with the rail shoe, two opposite rollers placed on their sides to interact with opposite sides of the rail neck and the upper pressure roller interacting with the rail head. Every aforesaid hydraulic cylinder is furnished with fluid-operated valve and represents two jointed low- and high-pressure sleeves. The low-pressure sleeve houses the output rod piston. The high-pressure sleeve accommodates the output piston, its rod end being linked to the spring-loaded radial top die. The control system incorporates an automatic limit switch locking the hydraulic system.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and simplified jobs.
