FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: diamond reamer includes body and button-like inserts, separated by sloping water course. Surfaces generatrix of sloping water course are implemented angularly to reamer butt plane, defining from ratio: β=arctg(kQ/2mSRn), where β - surface generatrix of water course angle of slope to reamer butt plane; k - trial coefficient depending on reamer structure and physical-mechanical properties of drilled rock (k=0.6÷0.9); Q - consumption of drilling mud in annular gap between well walls and reamer; m - quantity of water courses in reamer; S - cross section area of reamer one water course; R - radius of circle - by reamer external diameter; n - drilling assembly speed of rotation. Furthermore by height button-like inserts is separated for two parts - bottom turned to well bottom and top part located above it. At that bottom part is reinforced by diamonds of higher strength in comparison with diamonds reinforcing top part of button-like inserts.
EFFECT: endurance rising of diamond reamer.
