FIELD: physics, computation equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device for elementary charge measurement includes electrolyte cell with cylindrical cathode and free-form anode sunken in electrolyte, electric motor driving cathode rotation, direct current source, ampermetre for required current adjustment, stopwatch for electrolysis time registration featuring dielectric load mounted at the cathode bottom, optic microscope with object stage, to which an electrolytic cell is attached, web camera attached to microscope eyepiece, personal computer connected to the web camera. Electrolytic cell is produced of transparent material with grid drawn on it, so that grid and cathode are displayed on the PC monitor. LED is used for optic microscope lighting.

EFFECT: production of elementary charge metering gauge with improved technical characteristics.
