FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involving hoisting newborn piglets to a foster sow, to its functioning teats. Piglets from different sows are taken away from their mothers on the farrowing day, united, and hoisted to a foster sow, to all functioning teats so that all piglets in the nest would be foster to it. The sow farrowing time shall correspond to the birth time of piglets being hoisted.
EFFECT: increased live weight of piglets; increased preservation and income as compared to reference group.
