FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: cornea height and width are measured in patients aged within 40-55 years. If height or width is within 12.5 to 13.0 mm, high risk of high density nuclear cataract is predicted, while height or width within 12.0 to 12.4 mm shows moderate risk. And for height or width within 11.5 to 11.9 mm, low risk is predicted.

EFFECT: pre-clinical prediction of high density nuclear cataract.
