SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To predict the risk of retinal ruptures in children with cicatrical retinopathy of prematurity, digital retinoscopy, ultrasonic A- and B-scanning, spectral optical coherence tomography (SOCT), fluorescent angiography (FAG) are performed. If observing in the course of digital retinoscopy a residual avascular area on the periphery of the retina, pre-retinal fibrosis with retinal traction, chorioretinal dystrophy; if observing, according to A-scan data, a sharp increase in eye length from 23.0 mm and more, if observing, according to B-scan data, a flat local retina detachment, retinal traction tracts and traction retinoschisis, if observing the fibrotic altered posterior hyaloid membrane (PHM) with multiple retinal fixation and retention zones, traction retinoschisis zones by SOCT on the retinal periphery; if observing the narrowing and straightening of the main vessels according to the FAG, depletion of the vascular pattern, vascular disturbance, hyperfluorescence in the zones of chorioretinal dystrophy and preretinal fibrosis, a high risk of retinal rupture is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables reliable prediction of development of risk of retinal ruptures in children with scar tissue due to spontaneous regression of the disease.
