FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: implant made of carbonic composite Carbotextim is applied. The implant is modeled of discs. Fore-quarter of implant is covered with ophthalmologic polyester sheet. Extraocular muscles are fixed anchoring them to the cover surface.
EFFECT: method allows preventing of implant denudation in early and late periods after support-motor stump formation for ocular prosthesis, and enables using of big size implants in cases of orbit soft tissue deficiency, facilitating extraocular muscles fixation technique.
