FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to carry out evaluation with the help of ultrasound spatial digital tomography. Scanning plane should be placed in horizontal, vertical and diagonal directions. Tomography should be fulfilled in these planes at the following positions of a patient's look: at direct look and at maximal deviations in the same scanning planes. For every look position it is necessary to mark implant's ultrasound sections of the most distinct picture. According to the marked pictures for every scanning plane due to virtual rotation at pace being 6-30° one should model the implant and detect the values for volumes at each section. Out of all obtained values for volumes it is important to calculate and evaluate the average one. According to the models obtained one should evaluate the implant's relations with surrounding tissues according to the scope, density of their contact area, according to the distance between them, according to the width of implant-surrounding tissues. The implant's structure should be determined according to the values of homogeneity, density and availability of vessels. The suggested innovation enables to evaluate spatial structure of orbital implant, its accurate volume, integration dynamics of implant's separate fragments into single conglomerate and the implant's relations with surrounding tissues.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of evaluation.
