SUBSTANCE: needle selector for knitter chooses working needle by using a piezoelectric device having a piezoelectric element, in which intermediate position between rear end and forward end of the piezoelectric device supported so that a body could move, the piezoelectric element is hung on so that the body rotates by using rotating element for stabilisation of piezoelectric device vibration. Section framework of the rotating element on the plane surface, which is perpendicular to the axis of the rotating element and the plane surface of the piezoelectric device, is formed so that a bend in the direction across the width of the piezoelectric device decreases to the value, which is less then one of a bend in longitudinal direction.
EFFECT: increase of vibration speed of the rotating element in the piezoelectric device and decrease of electric energy consumption.
