METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF HEAVY AND HIGH VISCOUS HYDROCARBONS FROM UNDERGROUND DEPOSIT Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC E21B43/24 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to method of production of hydrocarbons from underground deposit of tar sand or heavy oil possessing high viscosity. To produce hydrocarbons from such deposits their heating is required. Method includes boring according to a specified network and preparation of producing wells to operation; at that producing wells are drilled out with horizontal sections in a deposit, the method also includes preparation of pressure wells, horizontal sections of which are drilled out in a deposit above the level of producing wells; further the method includes formation of a permeable zone between the producing and pressure wells, pumping of a heat carrier into the pressure wells and simultaneous withdrawal of hydrocarbons from the producing wells. According to the invention in the pressure wells there is arranged a row of several horizontal sections oriented into directions of the producing wells at 95-99% of length up to each of the producing well. Further these horizontal sections are reamed with a water reamer along the whole length. In each of the producing wells there is arranged a row of several horizontal sections oriented in the direction of the pressure wells at 95-99% of length up to each of these wells, also reamed with the water reamer along the whole length. At that the horizontal sections of the pressure wells are drilled out in the deposit above the level of the producing wells at not less, than 5 m, with the purpose to exclude heat carrier outbreak from horizontal sections of the pressure wells into horizontal sections of the producing wells. After that hydro breaks with pumping of a proplant layer is performed successively for each row of wells before commencement of operation.

EFFECT: upgraded efficiency of production due to increased coverage area of deposit.
