FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to technology of dielectric materials drying, in particular, sodium iodide, for chemical, pharmaceutical and related industries. In method of sodium iodide drying, which includes preliminary dehydration of initial raw material down to moisture mass fraction of 5-7%, cooling down to temperature of 60-65°C and final vacuum drying at the pressure of 25-30 mm mercury column, final vacuum drying is performed during supply of electromagnet field energy, in particular, with application of high-frequency heating in electric field of working condenser with vertical electrodes, besides, final vacuum drying is carried out in atmosphere of carbon tetrachloride vapours.
EFFECT: provision of process intensification and improvement of drying quality.
