SUBSTANCE: invention claims ultrasound level gauge including waveguide, ultrasonic emitter/receiver mounted on end face, lugs on waveguide surface along Archimedes spiral at equal distance from each other, pulse generator, amplifier, binary address counter, computer, "set" RS trigger, as well as first and second comparison circuits, and sources of reference signal voltage.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and resource of level gauge and improved measurement accuracy due to elimination of temperature error caused by temperature change along ultrasound wave course at temperature drop in fluid, air in direct vicinity of fluid surface, and environment.
