FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: level gauge has sensitive element made up of two waveguides with fixed in their upper part of receiving-transmitting transducers, and reflector acoustic pulses arranged in parallel to waveguide. Reflector throughout its length comprises ledges oriented horizontally. Sealing of waveguides bending waves is provided by means of tubular suspensions. Electric circuit level gauge has pulse generator, amplifier and indicator. Indicator consists of delayed gate pulses generator, level comparator, selector level and time intervals meter. Indicator is configured to determine time of acoustic signal passing from moment of sending pulse by generator to moment of its occurrence at output of amplifier.

EFFECT: high measurement accuracy.
