METHOD OF SOWING LEGUME GRASSES IN CROP ROTATION Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A01C7/00 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method implies combined sowing of two legume grasses in open sowing. Prior to sowing the seeds are treated in a scarifier and mixed with bacterial mass at the rate of 400-500 g per hectare rate of seeds. The bacterial mass is produced by mixing putrid mud and crushed roots of two-years-alfalfa together with soil on the roots and holding the mixture under the temperature of 22-24°C for 2-4 days. Sowing of legume grasses is carried out with the seeding rate of 5.4-5.8 million of viable seeds for the crop which is more moisture-requiring, and for the less moisture requiring crop - 2.5-2.8 million of viable seeds per hectare. Relation of putrid mud to the crushed alfalfa roots with the soil on the roots amounts to 1:3 if putrid mud humidity is equal to 20-30%.

EFFECT: increasing accumulation of organic matters and total nitrogen in the soil.
