FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to reclamation. Method involves covering and unprotected planting of alfalfa in irrigation by forcing on checks and its two-year growing. Alfalfa is sown in April according to the predecessor of rice under cover of spring barley with wide row with spacing of 30 cm; the crops are rolled. Pre-irrigation humidity in meter soil layer is maintained at level of 70–75 % of HB with irrigation during the first year with standard of 800 m3/ha and norm of 1,000 m3/ha on crops of alfalfa of the second year after the first mowing. Watering is carried out by short flooding method.
EFFECT: method improves meliorative state of rice fields by improving soil aeration and accelerating the onset of its physical ripeness in spring.
