FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: in melted stock, installed on circular mold stool, there is produced bath of melted metal by means of heating. Before building up of a specified volume of melt tapping of melt into a mold is detained by means of electromagnetic field effect onto melt. The moment of melting is controlled by a sensor. Melt is tapped into the mold surrounded by an inductor. At melt tapping the flow is retarded by pulsating electromagnetic field to prevent premature pouring of melt onto walls of the mold. The circular mold stool is equipped with folding bottom which facilitates stock building up to a specified thickness. Before building up of the stock a case out of re-melted metal is mounted onto the case. At bath tapping via the top of the case melt is completely freed from light and heavy impurities.
EFFECT: facilitating of extended process capabilities and efficiency of method implementation.
