FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the production of ferrites, designed for the usage in appliances with millimeter wave length (90-15 THz). BaF2·0.5Li2O·5.5Fe2O3 is preliminary synthesised and then crushed dry. The product is mixed with oxides of iron substituting elements and with required before stechiometry barium fluoride and lithium oxide with further crumbling in ethyl alcohol. Then there is performed pressing in magnetic field and burning.
EFFECT: invention is characterised with significant fields of anisotropy and low dielectric losses and also with high density.
