FIELD: cleaning bridges, reservoirs, ships, cars, automobiles, building structures and manufacturing equipment by removing corrosion products and contamination, changing roughness degree and enhancing decorative properties of different surfaces, pneumatic transportation of loose materials.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of generating two-component jet by acoustic action, vibration of branch pipe with material and by increasing pressure drop of gas at inlet and outlet of metering device; speeding up abrasive particles in accelerator along zone whose length is equal to 30-120 of its size and guiding particles by angle 15 - 45° relative to worked surface from place spaced from accelerator by distance consisting 35 -95 of its size. Apparatus includes accelerator connected through transporting pipeline with metering device of reservoir connected by means of gas duct with compressed-gas source. Metering device includes acoustic wide-band generator, multi-circuit vibration exciter having ejector, activator and centrifugal moisture separator. Ejector is used for feeding abrasive particles from cavity of activator. Vibration exciter is provided with trays arranged by acute angles one to other and with different-mass runners. Activator is in the form of sleeve having grooves in its wall for passing abrasive particles and duct for supplying gas from distributing T-piece through casing.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and effectiveness of abrasive treatment.
