FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to compositions of steel, used for fabrication of cutting tools operating at high speed. Steel contains carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, nickel, cobalt, aluminium, rhenium and iron at a following composition of elements, wt %: carbon 0.3-0.6, silicon 0.03-0.08, manganese 0.1-0.2, chromium 5.5-6.5, tungsten 5.5-6.5, molybdenum 5.5-6.5, vanadium 5.5-6.5, nickel 5.5-6.5, cobalt 5.5-6.5, rhenium 5.5-6.5, aluminium 0.05-0.1, iron - the rest.
EFFECT: upgraded impact resilience of steel.
