SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad machinery, particularly, to the loading-unloading devices incorporates with rail-carrying rolling stock and rail length storages. The proposed device comprises a gantry mounted on a fixed base and incorporating rail grippers, each being linked to the gantry by a cable wound up the drum fitted on the shaft attached to the gantry. The said drum is fitted on the aforesaid shaft by means of a torque-limiting clutch representing, for example, a spring-loaded friction tapered pair. The track length ends are furnished with locks, their mating pockets being arranged on the rolling stock or the storage.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of loading-unloading, higher reliability of locking track length ends in rolling stock or storage locks.
