FIELD: maintenance and construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of maintenance and construction of the upper structure of the railway track, in particular to portal rail layers. The rail paver contains portals with supports and rail grips. Two portals are supported on supports by means of hinges. The hinges allow the legs to rotate 90° for transport. The height of the supports ensures work with rails laid on railway platforms. Each support has four pneumatic wheels. The wheels are hinged to the supports. The hinges ensure the passage of the railway curve. Four rail grips move along the portals on carriages by means of a worm gear. Raising and lowering the rails is carried out by hand winches. The winches are located on the outer sides of the portal supports.
EFFECT: number of workers involved in the layout of the rails is reduced.
