FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine rotor engine incorporates a housing with gas-distributing channels, cylindrical chambers, a shaft and rotors fitted thereon. The aforesaid rotors are arranged off-center inside the said housing variable-volume combustion chambers being formed by the housing cylindrical chamber, the rotor outer surface and the swinging flaps accommodating sealing plates and pivots. The latter are designed to mate with rotors. Every aforesaid chamber makes a pressure and an expansion chamber depending upon the working cycle. The housing accommodates also the swinging flap shaft. Note that it is possible to adjust the backlash between the swinging flaps' pivots and the rotors. The said flap is arranged to allow its limited axial travel on the swinging flap shaft. The flaps casing both sides accommodate sleeves with O-rings so that they interact, by one edge, with the flap casing and, by their other edge, with the engine housing. Note that the said sleeves can be self-aligned within the limits of the flap axial travel. Sealing plates are arranged in the flap casing slots, parallel to the flap edge-to-combustion chamber mating surface and along the pivot edges. The pivot can also be self-aligned axially. Note that all sealing plates rest upon the flat springs.

EFFECT: higher reliability and reduced risks of sticking.
