FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic sensor angular positioned contains body, sensing elements and angular position changing systems of sensing elements. Angular position changing system of sensing elements contains central spherical bearing established on body rod with sensing elements fixed on its external collar. Angular position of sensing elements is changed by rotation of external collar in two mutually perpendicular planes passing through rod axis using rotary levers of two servomotors motion of which is translated by tension bar and two spherical bearings fixed on each end of tension bar.

EFFECT: provided reliable peak signal of flaw detector at minimum time consumption for positioning relative to controlled surface.
