FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to the field of radio electric engineering and can be used in switches for high-current pulse accelerators for charged particles, for pulse oscillators, etc. The device contains sealed dielectric gas-charged casing. Main electrodes and control electrode fitted into one of the main electrodes are located in the casing. Discharger casing is made in the form of truncated cone. The main electrode located at larger base of casing is made with working surface consisting of three mating surfaces: spherical, toroidal and conical located between them. The main electrode located at smaller base of casing is made spherical-shaped. On working surface of at least one of the electrodes the insert of heat-resisting material is located.
EFFECT: resource enhancement, raise of reliability, electric strength and decrease in dimensions.
