FIELD: medicine; surgery.
SUBSTANCE: compression element is placed on belt internal surface and consists of six adjacent reservoirs connected between each other with the help of rubber tubes. The fifth reservoir is arranged as ball-shaped. The first four reservoirs are serially connected to each other and then to sixth reservoir, which in its turn is connected to fifth reservoir. Rubber tubes connect upper ends of the first and second reservoirs, lower ends of the second and third reservoirs, upper ends of third and fourth reservoirs, lower ends of fourth and sixth reservoirs. Compression element is displaced relative to belt middle line so that the first reservoir is located above breastbone, and ball-shaped reservoir is oriented towards axillary crease.
EFFECT: less intense lymphorrhea after radical mastectomy, tight pressing of skin flaps to underlying tissues.
