FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and can be applied for intraocular lens (IOL) implantation in lens subluxation cases using intracapsular ring (ICR). The loop of double non-absorbable suture, with needle on its end, is hanged around ICR before fixing it in injector. ICR is implanted with help of injector into capsular sac, endeavouring to place ICR to superpose the ring middle and the middle of cinnal ligaments abruption zone. The needle and suture end being left outside. IOL is implanted into capsular sac, expanded by viscoelastic. Then the needle and suture end is introduced from outside into capsular sac; the needle in equatorial zone is led through capsular sac wall, ciliary furrow, led out to sclera surface, and the thread is fixed with buried suture.
EFFECT: stabilisation of "capsular sac with ICR and implanted posterior-chamber IOL" block, due to its fixation by suture; lowering the risk of cinnal ligaments defect zone enlargement, as well as late complications occurrence that leads to overall clinical effect improvement of operation performed.
