FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: application of methylene blue as anti-allergic means in treatment for atopic dermatitis, both in clinic, and on outpatient basis, is proposed. The application is characterised by irrigation of small intestine mucous tunic. The treatment course resulted in reduced itch and clear skin in atopic dermatitis infant patients; long-time remission during 7-8 months was observed. The patients are subjected to esophago-gastro-duodenoscopy, with jejunum mucous tunic examination, and combined mucous tunic irrigation with 5 to 15 ml volume of 1% methylene blue water solution, depending on patient age. Treatment course includes 3 or 4 procedures with 4 to 7 day intervals.
EFFECT: recovery of mucous tunic structure, epitheliocytes contacting, and preventing of allergens absorption to circulatory system.
