FIELD: medicine, processing of medical waste.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns thermomechanical sterilisation of the infected medical waste. The way of sterilisation of the infected waste consists in their crushing in the working chamber by means of a rotating rotor with beaters at tap of a part of a formed steam in separate capacity, heated to 600°C, and the subsequent remission of the chamber of the disinfected material, and crushing is spent before achievement in the temperature chamber 200°C. Increase peripheral speed of the beaters in the rotor up to 100 m/s, providing thus material circulation on chamber volume at an overpressure of a water steam, sufficient for occurrence of effect of a cavitation. The device for realisation of a way contains the chamber with internal blades and a pencil-point rotor with radial flat beaters which are placed between the chamber blades. And the rotor shaft is executed in the form of the pencil-point pipe having obliquity conversed to obliquity of the rotor, thus the chamber is supplied with a ventilation valve, adjusted on relief of excess of a steam formed in the chamber. The invention allows to reduce time and to lower power consumption of process of sterilisation.
EFFECT: reduction of time and decrease of power consumption of sterilisation process.
