FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, oncology, and can be used for photodynamic therapy (PDT) of tumours. For this purpose administer photosensitinogen to the patient. Then irradiate a pathological site with light radiation with a wavelength equal to a wavelength of a spectral maximum of absorption of photosensitinogen. Thus in addition irradiate the pathological site with light radiation with a wavelength differing from a wavelength of a spectral maximum of absorption on 7-15 nanometers.
EFFECT: increase of PDT efficiency of tumours of big sizes, especially at their big thickness, at expense of fuller destruction of all layers of tumour and uniform distribution of photodynamic influence on depth of pathological centre.
