FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: mass-transfer column (1) is proposed, which includes feeding device (6) used for liquid entrapping and for even steam distribution along horizontal cross section of internal space of column (1) as soon as steam flow or mixed steam-liquid phase flow are directed to column (1) through feed nozzle (5). Feeding device (6) includes channel (7) with circular -shaped cross section formed between outer vertical wall - column (1) casing (2) and inner wall (8) of feeding device (6) being away inwards from outer vertical wall-casing (2). Deflecting device (deflector) (16) provided with a pair of deflecting surfaces (17) located opposite to each other is installed at steam flow inlet from feeding device (5) to channel (7) of circular-shaped cross section. By means of deflector, steam flow is separated into two nearly identical flows running on opposite directions along channel circle (7) of circular-shaped cross-section. In channel (7) of circular-shaped cross section, both sides of deflecting device (deflector) are ensured by at least one redirecting plate (19, 20) located at some distance from deflecting surfaces (17) formed by deflector. By means of redirecting plates and deflecting surfaces (17), sub-channels (21) are created for steam flowing. Owing to sub-channels (21) steam amount is decreased, which hits inner surface of feeding device at its inlet. Advantage is the decrease of pressure drops when steam flow is redirected from its radial direction at the moment of steam inlet to circular direction in channel (7) of circular-shaped cross-section.

EFFECT: product outcome is increased and steam distribution is improved.
