FIELD: separation.
SUBSTANCE: inlet device has separating cups (26a, 26b, 26c) located on each of outlet channels (44a, 44b, 44c) of flow channel (24). Each separating sleeve has cylindrical wall (46) and elongated inlet opening (54) in cylindrical wall, which allows flow of fluid medium to pass in direction of tangent to open inner area, where it swirl, which facilitates separation of gas phase from liquid phase in fluid medium flow. Liquid phase exits the separation barrel through slots (56) in the cylindrical wall and through the open lower end of the open inner area. Gas phase exits the separation barrel, rising upwards through the open upper end (50) of the open inner area.
EFFECT: disclosed is inlet device for use in a vessel for facilitating separation of a gaseous phase from a liquid phase in a fluid medium flow.
