FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ultrasonic methods of resolving of water-oil emulsion and can be employed at dehydration and desalination of oil. Method includes stage of forming flow of water-oil emulsion by means of ultrasonic effect along the direction of the flow. At that, following ultrasonic wave is generated, the direction of propagation of which coincides with the direction of emulsions flow, and a counterflow ultrasonic wave is generated, the direction of propagation of which is opposite to the direction of the emulsions flow. Ultrasonic transformers are installed on the front and back sides of the device. After de-emulsification water-oil emulsions are settled under effect of gravity; then emulsions are separated or settled and separated in electrical field for dehydration.
EFFECT: upgraded efficiency of oil dehydration.
