FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of processing petroleum products. The invention deals with a method of water-petroleum emulsion dehydration with the application of super-high-frequency (SHF) energy, supplied via a waveguide, made in form of a metal pipe, and a system of coalescentors, in addition to SHF energy in the range from 100 MHz to 3000 MHz with the power flux density from 50 to 200 W/cm2, ultrasonic (US) energy, with the intensity from 1 to 10 W/cm2, and with the frequency from 300 kHz to 2000 kHz, is supplied into the waveguides, US energy with the intensity from 0.8 to 1.2 W/cm2 and the frequency from 18 to 40 kHz, is used in the coalescentors.
EFFECT: effective removal of water and solid admixtures from petroleum in the flow with the minimal energy consumption.
