SUBSTANCE: method of iron (II) concentration definition in iron plating electrolytes involves measurement of glass pH electrode potential with respect to silver chloride reference electrode and Fe2+ion concentration calculation from potential value by grading diagram. Solution for grading diagram plotting and test iron plating electrolyte solution contain iron (II) salt and potassium chloride, and grading diagram is represented by potential E dependency on -lgα Fe2+ within interval of glass electrode compliance to Nernst function, where E is potential pf glass pH electrode with respect to silver chloride reference electrode, and -lgα Fe2+ is negative decimal logarithm of iron (II) concentration.

EFFECT: reduced labour cost and duration of analysis.
