FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: device includes Mariotte vessel of constant head. Device is provided with articulated nozzle positioned in the given upper point of chute. Nozzle is implemented so that water flow can be directed at preset angles. In addition device includes removable inclined tray with perforated bottom and rough surface for separation of water infiltrated through soil specimens. Besides tray on framework is installed on fixed support by hinge connection and implemented so that soil specimens can be displaced in different order and at preset angles. Small tray is installed on the lower part of framework and measuring vessel for collection of water and washed soil is displaced under measuring vessel.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of underlying surface distortion direction.
