SUBSTANCE: upper-stage rocket (USR) structures are intended for spacecraft injection into target orbits after head part has separated from carrier booster. USR represents primary tanks block, additional tanks cluster and eight cylinder courses. Cylinder courses are connected by their butt sectors with strong rings which are provided with longitudinal beams. Four crosswise laying strong rings structure includes convex bottoms. Such construction version allows for structure mass lowering and payload volume increase to accommodate fuel in additional tanks cluster. Strong ring in each version contains rim made as outer and inner belts connected by wall, beam and bearing elements on external belt. Two bearing elements are positioned in axial alignment with the beam and the third element is positioned with bias. Such execution lets to optimally accept compressive forces. Ribs are located in the areas of bearing elements mounting between rim belts. The ribs permit to lower strong ring mass. The presence of convex bottom tightly connected with inner rim belt (in the second version) allows strong ring usage fuel tanks structure.

EFFECT: high perfection level of upper-stage rocket and strong ring design together with capability to accept strong concentrated compressive forces in ring plane which forces are directed at angle to each other.
