FIELD: metallurgy, processes.
SUBSTANCE: it is formed plasma jet as bundle in pulse mode with velocity of plasma jet outflow (105-106) m/s, energy (0.1-3.0) keV, power density of plasma jet flow (106-1010) watt/cm2 in chamber of plasma facility in the medium of actuation gas under high-tension operation, imposed to anode and cathode. They affect by high-temperature plasma to product surface with intrusion in its surface bed of implanted material component. Concentration of alloying ingredient in surface bed is specified by quantity of affecting impulses and by action time of particular impulse. Affecting impulses are formed with frequency in the range 0.01-10 Hz and with continuance from 10-8 till 10-6 s.
EFFECT: increasing of mechanical properties of product surface bed.
