FIELD: heating, drying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to disperse materials drying technologies and may be used in food, pharmaceutical, microbiological, chemical and other industries. Pneumatic dryer with counter swirling flows includes drying chamber with swirler and fender washer, damp disperse material feeders and unloading mechanism, gas supply pipe for primary flow of coolant and tangential gas inlet for the secondary flow. Vibrator is fixed to drying chamber's housing. Optimal parameters of vibrator operation are as follows: level of vibration within 70...85 dB, vibration frequency within 31.5...125 Hz, effective time 5 sec with 30 sec interval. Optimal drying modes are effective at the following parameters: ratio of drying chamber diameter D1 to outlet choke diameter D3 is within optimal interval of values: D1/D3=1.6...1.8; ratio of drying chamber height H to its diameter D2 is within optimal value range: H/D2=1.5...5.0.
EFFECT: improvement of drying efficiency.
