FIELD: physics; measurements.
SUBSTANCE: present invention is aimed at increasing accuracy of measurements and reliability of manometric type pneumo-electronic devices. The given technical outcome is attained by that, the device for pneumatic measurement of linear dimensions consists of a stabiliser, a measurement chamber, equipped with an input and metering nozzle, back pressure chamber, and a detector element separating the chambers, connected to the display device of the controlled dimension. The detector element is in form of a pneumo-electronic converter, the maximum operation pressure of which is more than or equal to the air pressure at the output of the stabiliser. The back pressure chamber is joined to the output of the stabiliser and does not have an outlet valve. The display device of the controlled dimension is in form of a manometric type pneumo-electronic device, consisting of a unit for processing measurements, connected to the detector element, and an indicator with digital and finite scales.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurements and reliability of manometric type pneumo-electronic devices.
