METHOD OF RADIO-FREQUENCY SIGNAL AMPLITUDE AND PHASE MODULATION AND RELATED DEVICE OF IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC H03C5/00

Abstract RU 2341009 C2

FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for setting of required amplitude-frequency characteristics and phase-frequency variations of phase-shift keyed, amplitude-shift keyed and amplitude-phase-shift keyed signals in specified frequency band and frequency transformation. Method implies that radio-frequency signal is supplied from radio-frequency signal source to input of modulator containing four-pole network, made of resistive two-pole networks, three-pole controlled element connected to low-frequency control signal source, and load with complex impedance for line modulated radio-frequency signals with parameter values of resistive elements forming two-pole networks specified in such a way as to maintain required relations of line signal amplitude and phase variations within specified frequency band in two conditions of three-pole controlled element. Device contains radio-frequency signal source, three-pole controlled element, four-pole network made of resistive two-pole networks, low-frequency control signal source, load for line amplitude and phase modulated radio-frequency signals with complex conductance values with parameter values of resistive elements forming resistive four-pole network specified in such a way as to maintain required relations of modules and transmission coefficient phase differences in two conditions of three-pole controlled element determined by two extreme values of low-frequency control signal which defined by mathematical expressions specified in formula.

EFFECT: provided line signal amplitude and phase manipulation in two conditions of controlled element within wide band.
